Marne, MI – InnerSpace has been recognized with a Great Place to Work® Certification. The certification is in the small-to-medium business category and runs from April 2023 through April 2024.

According to the Great Place to Work organization, certification recognizes employers who create an outstanding employee experience. The organization defines a great workplace as one where employees trust the people they work for, have pride in what they do, and enjoy the people they work with. The certification process includes a survey that employees complete and response to a questionnaire Human Resources completes. InnerSpace employees completed the survey that focused on credibility, respect, pride, fairness, and camaraderie. Among the survey results: 86 percent of employees agreed with the statement that InnerSpace is a great place to work and 89 percent of those surveyed are proud to tell others they work at InnerSpace.

“We’ve focused on making InnerSpace a place where our employees want to come to work. We’ve worked on improving the work experience,” says InnerSpace President Ben Barber. “We feel our employees are happier and more engaged in their work and that translates to customers seeing that engagement in the form of better quality in our products and processes. The survey results confirmed that we are creating a better work experience for our team.”

As InnerSpace continues to create a positive workplace environment, it has invested in training managers to be better equipped to help their team members be successful in their day-to-day work. The annual certification process allows the company to continue to monitor progress on its investments in its people and the work environment.

“InnerSpace’s business practices and work environment reflect the value it holds for each of its employees. Our culture creates a supportive, enjoyable, and fun atmosphere where everyone is recognized and respected,” says Barber.
